Welcome to Aisling Isle
Sometimes, you just need a break from your entire life. Wouldn't it be nice if there was somewhere you could go that would give you the opportunity to really let your hair down? Aisling Isle is the place you're looking for.
Aisling Isle is a resort in the center of the Sophrosyne Archipelago. It also happens to be an interdimensional vacation hot spot. Characters who arrive will be treated to beautiful pool- and beachside accommodations and an all expenses paid respite from the burdens of their lives. Because the Sophrosyne Archipelago is located within a sentient pocket vortex in the space-time continuum, it exists independent of time itself, meaning that once your character has had their fill of some well-deserved R&R, when they decide to return home, they will pick up right where they left off with only as much as a two to three second blip between where they left off and what they go back to. Of course, this is common knowledge about the location, so everyone who is anyone will already be aware of this; they can stay as long as they please and never really miss a thing.
The weather appears to be controlled by the general atmosphere. Locals have studied this phenomenon and have concluded after centuries of research that the chemosignals given off by inhabitants and visitors alike reacts with the pocket's atmosphere creating a fascinatingly simple way to control the weather. The happier and more relaxed inhabitants and visitors are, the warmer and more clear-skied it will be with a weekly shower overnight to keep the land, flora, and fauna healthy. Likewise, negative chemosignals — such as anger, jealousy, fear, sadness, and loneliness — trigger fouler weather like rain, snow, and natural disasters like monsoons and hurricanes.
Naturally, the locals wish to preserve the pleasant weather and, for that reason, there are gentle reminders throughout the resort (on signs as well as in brochures and on the only channel that comes in clearly on the televisions in the hotel rooms) for visitors to keep themselves well fed, sexually and emotionally satisfied, and relaxed. The staff of the hotel is always happy to help in any way that they can to facilitate this, from throwing mixers, aiding visitors in finding companionship (both romantic and platonic), offering activities, and serving to any needs that the visitors may have.
In addition, there is, actually, an app for that! eCuddle can be found automatically downloaded onto your character's device. It's a free app which works a bit like Tinder and allows you to swipe right for connections you'd like to make, while swiping left for those you would prefer not to. eCuddle promotes dating, mostly, by nature. However, the app can also be used to look for friends, cuddle buddies, friends with benefits, and long-term relationships. Characters need only fill out their profile to choose their settings and off they go!
